New day, new hopes, new aspirations, new strivings, new dreams, new beginnings, new goals, new, new, new...
That's what lfe is, an endless quest for the NEW! The urge for newness has possessed us to the extent that we keep yearning for more.
The word 'satisfaction' is outdated, archaic and obsolete.
Our cravings don't end so the fending for greener pastures continue. One leads to the other and the other.
In our desire to fulfil our cravings we keep experimenting with within and without, we externalise, internalise, live, die and then live again. This is the vicious circle of life, sad but true!
'New' is understood as growth, progress, advancement and change but this craving for 'New' is also the root of all evil that predominates today's world.
The ecstacies and the agonies of getting our hearts' desires can take us to any extent. We are the outcome of materialism where the car you drive, the cell phone you carry, the brand you wear defines you. It's a matter of status and who says this is a class-less society?? The gap between the 'HAVE'S' AND HAVE-NOT'S exists and it's LOUD and VISIBLE. It was, it is and it will always be there.

On a lighter note, I got my mobile phone free with the printer we bought last year. It's a very old model. It doesn't even have a colored screen! And none of that other fancy stuff new phones have either. I can't even import ring tones. It also has a very dull design. There are still some of us who still don't mind not having all the new sfuff. We're just happily 'bin daas', eh Sunita? ;)
Yeah Lara,
One needs to have that carefree and bold attitude in order not to be entangled in the MESH..you got me , right????
