Identity
The silent hill now speaks in
unison,
she's the mother with
children gathered , seeking a roof,
for, strange it is to
be an outsider in one’s own home ;
to be questioned of identity,
and, to have to explain ethnicity, in one's own country.
The air now is anguish and
anxiety,
complacency was
tested to the brim,
the hill endured all disgrace with grace,
now, in dignity, she
demands
deprived right and
identity!
