More tears are shed over answered prayers than unanswered ones.

DARJEELING

Darjeeling,
nestled in the hills
that has towering peaks
where the sun plays , 'hide and seek'
whose beauty is an enchantment,
a bewildermanet and a bafflement.
LAB ' E-20'
Watch out for falling whiteboards
Whose screws decide to give up
tired of the ‘hanging job’.
Even though you’re standing
far away
the snap and the crack
and the flying shards
of a laptop screen
hurt more than enough.
It’ll frighten your wits out
Leave you in doubt
Make you wonder
At what caused that thunder.
It’ll appall and assault
every sense, every nerve.
Will kill all the verve
With the unexpected swerve!
Therefore, stay reserved
In a safe curve
In order not to get
What you don’t deserve!
Whose screws decide to give up
tired of the ‘hanging job’.
Even though you’re standing
far away
the snap and the crack
and the flying shards
of a laptop screen
hurt more than enough.
It’ll frighten your wits out
Leave you in doubt
Make you wonder
At what caused that thunder.
It’ll appall and assault
every sense, every nerve.
Will kill all the verve
With the unexpected swerve!
Therefore, stay reserved
In a safe curve
In order not to get
What you don’t deserve!

GRIEVE NOT...
Grieve not SOUL
Though you are not whole
The other half faked you
Assaulted and betrayed you.
That part was a foe
Resurrected from a grave,
Twelve years old.
It came like a storm
Caused all the harm
And then left feeling calm
Though you are not whole
The other half faked you
Assaulted and betrayed you.
That part was a foe
Resurrected from a grave,
Twelve years old.
It came like a storm
Caused all the harm
And then left feeling calm

VALENTINE
It’s Valentine
and that’s a good reason to illumine
Our love-line with a heart divine
and a pint of red wine.
To seek for 'red' hearts and 'redder' tarts.
That’ll make life , 'A Portrait of ART.'
An open canvas of memories,
a pallet of untold stories,
in all its glories.

It’s Valentine!
That’s the time
to shine
on the love line
to a heart divine
with a pint of red wine
Seek the red hearts
and redder tarts
that in life and in part
make a portrait of art
An open canvas of memories
crowded with stories
of sins and glories.
and that’s a good reason to illumine
Our love-line with a heart divine
and a pint of red wine.
To seek for 'red' hearts and 'redder' tarts.

FOR SALE!!!

Hearts for sale, hearts for sale, buy one and get two free, that’s the deal! Hearts are in plenty and available at throwaway prices. You don’t need to look further, even your neighborhood shop has it. You also have innumerous choices.
Hearts are in diamond, gold, silver, platinum, steel, iron, stone, flesh and blood. You can even opt for the assorted ones, sugar coated candy puffs, dark brown chocolates fudge with hazel nut or walnut, or almond or just a peanut. They are in all shapes and sizes; big and small, flat and round, light and dark, cute and ugly, expensive and inexpensive. It’s not difficult to find them either, you have them in posh malls alongside branded items and ordinary supermarkets amidst ordinary goods.
In other words, it’s the ‘hearts market’ in all its dazzling color and texture, all set to pounce on the consumer irrespective of the ‘Financial Crunch’ and the ‘Pocket Crunch’.
Consumers don’t mind either, in fact they are in a frenzy caught by the shopping fever, trying all the hearts possible in a desperate attempt to replace their ‘old’ unattractive mundane heart with a redder, more palpitating and a more feeling one. Little do they realize that the eyes can be deceptive and that every glittering object is not gold.

??????
If things remain simple then life will be easy but unfortunately simplicity is entertwined with complexity. The one you think you can trust stabs you , the one you think you can understand is a bundle of mystery and the one who promises you happiness burdens you with sorrow.
